WE ARE VERY PLEASED and excited to announce that a Strategic Alliance Agreement has been signed between Intellection Pty Ltd and Struers A/S. Struers is the world’s leading manufacturer of equipment and consumables for materialographic surface preparation of solid materials, and with affiliates in 16 countries, qualified service personnel, experienced metallographers and a worldwide network of dealers they have more than 40% of the world market.
This strategic alliance focuses on the international sales, promotion and support of the Struers and Intellection range of products along with a combined research and development program in the mineralogical segment of the market. The Agreement furthermore includes the marketing, distribution and after sales service of Struers products covering the markets of Australia and New Zealand.
Intellection, being a leader in mineralogical analysis, combined with the development capability of Struers, will forge a formidable partnership providing unique solutions and support to our customers throughout the world.
This will clearly enhance the total solution to our customers’ needs, not only in sample preparation but also in the analysis element of our offering.
A new Struers division will be formed within Intellection to service both our national as well as our international customers. Esben Kristian Kjaer, who has been with Struers for 4 years, will be heading the new division and will be supported by highly trained and experienced sales and service personnel.
Struers and Intellection will provide you with convenience shopping via e-Commerce and you are also able to look up sample preparation processes on-line with e-Metalog, a database containing generic preparation methods for more than 500 variations of materials.
